What is the Liquidator Method?

Title

The Liquidator method is a method of installation that we have developed over years to make installation as easy and quick as possible. Developed over 1000's of patio installs and hundreds of hours or research, this method half's the amount of labour involved and provides a better outcome then the traditional method of installing a patio.

Utilizing two technologies, Cherrystone; a self compacting aggregate, and Next Base; a paver stabilization system, the Liquidator Method can't be beat.

Over 90% of our DIY'er we help say they would never install a patio the traditional way again!

What Makes Cherrystone Superior?

Title

Cherrystone with Next Base delivers a smarter and faster patio base solution, without sacrificing performance or durability.

Traditionally, installing a patio requires a minimum of 6 inches of compacted limestone base (¼″ or ¾″ down), installed and compacted in 3-inch lifts. This process adds significant labour, equipment rental costs, and time, as the installer must use plate compactors or manual tampers to properly prepare the base.

Cherrystone changes everything.

When paired with Next Base, you only need a 1-inch Cherrystone base with no compaction required. That means less excavation, less hauling, and dramatically reduced labour.

For every 100 square feet of patio, Cherrystone can eliminate the need to move approximately 3 tons of soil and aggregate. The result is faster installation, lower material costs, and a cleaner, more efficient job site.

Why Use Next Base?

Title

Next Base is an advanced paver stabilization system designed to make patio installation faster, easier, and longer lasting than traditional methods.

Manufactured from rubber-impregnated EPS (expanded polystyrene), Next Base panels feature a precision tongue-and-groove locking system that securely connects each pad, creating a stable, unified surface. The pads are installed directly over a leveled Cherrystone screed, forming an instant, walkable base.

Unlike traditional patio installation, where the screed layer cannot be stepped on without disturbing its level, Next Base allows you to walk freely across the surface once installed. This eliminates the need for delicate, time-consuming paver placement and significantly improves job-site efficiency.

Once Next Base is in place, pavers can be laid directly on top and slid easily into position, dramatically speeding up installation while eliminating frustration and rework.

In addition to faster installs, Next Base reduces leveling issues by up to 50%, resulting in a flatter, more consistent patio surface. The added stability helps prevent long-term settling, delivering a patio that performs better and lasts longer than those built using traditional compacted-base methods.

Offering a smarter, cleaner, and more reliable foundation for paver patios.
