County Materials is a Wisconsin based paver manufacturer focused on making high quality pavers. These pavers feature additives that not only make the pavers stronger but fight efflorescence and driveway certified with a 70mm thick profile.

Element 4" x 8" Borders

Though borders are purely cosmetic, they help add that finishing touch to your project, just like a picture frame. The borders available for the County Grand Deluxe DIY Patio Kits are made with the same high quality concrete as the pavers in a traditional 4" x 8" dimensions. 

 

There are 2 ways to position your border: sailor and soldier. Soldier is the most common border layout where the 4" side is placed against the patio body. Sailor is less common but uses less border stones and is places with the 8" side against the patio body. Keep in mind that adding a border to your patio will make it larger, adding 16" total to both sides when installing a soldier border and 8" when installing a sailor border.

 

We recommend using Reflection (black) or Vision (white) for the border to make the body of your patio pop!
